I took advantage of the $70 rebate and pulled the trigger on a set of Michelin LTX MS2's. The reviews on Tire Rack all rave about how well these puppies ride.

The one issue I have with my truck is the ride, I feel every bump in the road.
I think the Wranglers are a big part of the harsh ride. I've got newer KYB GR2's, tire pressure set at 30 and the alignment is correct as well.

I just dropped the truck off this morning to have the Good Year Wranglers removed and the Michelin's put on. I'm going to have them toss a new fuel filter on it as well.

I'll post my opinion as to how these change the characteristics of the truck's ride in the next day or so.

I am curious too...
I have same issues. My shocks are Monroe Sensatrac and that helped a lot, but I still feel that is room for improvement in ride quality. Goodyear Wranglers tires at 30psi too...

I recently replaced original shocks with Monroe Sensatrac for both front and rear. I choosed load adjustable one for the rear which even gives me 2 inch lif at the rear. I feel big ride improvement and the feeling of the bumpy road if dramatically reduced. The handling is also much better, especially when turning.

By the way, I have Michelin LX for tires and pressure is set at 33.

Another finding I had is the stabilizer bar, both front and rear. Check the rubber bushing betwwen it with the link bar. Replace those and you may feel better handling.

UPDATE:

First thing I notice as I drive away from the service station is that these puppies are quiet. The only thing I hear is the sound of rushing air, impressive for a light truck tire.
Steering is very neutral, truck tracks dead straight down the road and isn't effected by crowning. I also don't really feel any tread squirm usually associated with new tires. They are spot on as far as steering goes.

Expansion joints - Wranglers crashed into them, the Michelin's are MUCH more compliant with only as much as a light thud from them. Nice improvement there.
Bumps, manholes - A bit of an improvement, truck doesn't seem to crash into them as much, but it's a bump. Perhaps moving to a more compliant shock such as the Sensatrack's would make things even better. The KYB's I'm running are on the stiff side.

On the highway, these puppies ride really nice. The truck is comfortable to drive with great stability and fantastic steering response. A really big improvement there.

Overall, I'm pleased with them, there is definitely an improvement in ride quality and overall steering response. It's raining today so I'll get to test them a bit further on wet roads to see how well they hold the road. The tread looks aggressive with nice deep blocks and deep channels. I almost wish it would snow one more time!

EDIT:
Just got back from a blast down Rt80. These tires shine on the highway. Extremely smooth ride and absolutely glued to the road. SWEET!!!

I put those on my F-150. Quiet, nice ride and decent steering/handling on road. In my experiance, They are WAY better than the Bridgestone Revo's they replaced in every possible measurement. Wet grip, dry grip, snow grip, mud, dirt, grass, air...quieter smoother...But...They fall just a little short of the Goodyear Silent Armour' I had before the Bridgestones. Overall, I am VERY HAPPY with them.
