well, i have recently sold my 1st gen explorer, and bought a 2000 explorer awd 5.0 xlt and im gettin ready to start spending some pennies on the lift, and tires, it will be a show truck/street queen, it will be offroad only a few times(thats what i bought a jeep cj for). I would like to put 4" suplift 1.5" torsion twisht, soa, and a 3" body lift, with fiberglass on all four corners, with 5.13 gears, and i want to run 39.5" tires. i seen on here that someone had 37's but i want 39.5" iroks. and i dont want to do a sas.

but what size tire is the max

oh and i know the parts lifted above will cost alot, but after selling my old explorer for $4750 and having around $2000 saved up for this. i think ill have enough, because ill be doing all the work

superlift, 3"b/l and fiberglass fenders on 35's no way 39.5's would fit, and if they did it would look like poopy and break stuff backing out of your driveway.

wow i guess your right, looks like ill have to go done to 37's maybe, i know before i have seen a 1st gen with 8" of lift and 37's with just trimmed fenders, and i thought with 8.5-9" of lift 39's might fit, i guess i was wrong, ok well 37's will work thanks
