BII 4.0 Conversion

Well, my dad and I have decided that when the engine goes(2.9L) were gonna put the 4.0 from a '92 X when they get on in the junkyard, the things we will have to change are the motor mounts, engine, of course, and all the wireharnessing and computer stuff and hopefully we'll be set!

Didnt some Bronco 2's come with a 4.0?

Bronco II only came with a 2.8 and a 2.9

My buddy had a 90 bronco 2 with a 4.0

Yes I beleive it was. A weak motor indeed.

They kick ass in the SVO's but that was a whole different motor with a turbo charger that put out 18 pounds of boost
