I voted Yes, Not only do the trucks look clean, but not too many people do it. This will definatly make the truck stand out more than before.

how do you like that k&n and 40series snooarder?

I had a Billet Grille on my old S-10....in 1995.

This is 2006. The Billet Grille thing is a BIT overdone..there are MANY vehicles on the road now that have some type of billet grille made for it. The 1st gen don't look good with a Billet Grille. I do like the Ford Logo on snoborder42's grille. But then he went and screwed up the look with those lights....so as a WHOLE, I still don't like the look his truck has. I know, that's MY opinion....and there are MANY people on here that don't like what I have done with my X....but diversity makes this world a much more interesting place.

Yeah I know that the lights aren't the best ones, but I needed some extra lights and went the cheap route.
As for the K&N and Flowmaster, I like them I don't know if they really did anything performance wise but it never hurts. If I could go back though I wouldn't get the K&N just due to the fact that it has 130000 miles and I'm not gonna have it forever, I should have just gotten a regular paper filter. And as for the flowmaster I would get it again. Partly due to the fact the I very rarely see any Explorer with a loud exhaust around here. :D

...that reminds me, I still need to get a vid & sound clip of my Green X with a 3" Cat-back...

speedracer....get that vid up

wutd you guys do to open your hood? relocate the catch latch?...with the billet grills?

Once you do this you will need to make a hood latch relocator. I used a cable with a pulley mounted so the cable would drop down under the bumper where a hook was that I could pull to release the hood when I needed it opened. Not a hard project. Just be creative. Hope this helps!

Ummm... yeah.. what he said... lol ;)

where did you mount the pulley n stuff like that...thats wut i'd liek to know..thanks

hey 91ex..wut year ranger did that come off of? and did that bolt right up?
