Can anyone recommend a billet grille for me? I am looking for a drop in replacement for the stock grille because I plan to run the stock grille in the winter to keep from ruining the billet one. I heard that t-rex is a good one but I'm not sure if I'll have to hack up the stocker or not.

T-Rex is badass imo because it has more bars than most other grills, which gives it a tougher look.

However, you WILL have to chop your stock grill up to install the T-Rex.

Most grills are a replacement for the original one. I believe T-rex is a complete replacement. I bought mine off Ebay, upper and lower grill.

what do you mean by hack up? i have to cut my grill to take it off (stock)? How much cutting is involved, and difficulty level?

No you don't have to cut your grill to take it off. There is 4 bolts at the top of the grill, remove those and the grill comes right off.

You have to cut up your stick grill to install a T-Rex. It uses the outside frame of the original grille, but you have to cut out all of the honeycomb grill. It is not a direct replacement. It also comes with horrible installation instructions and a few parts you can't use. In the end, it was all worth it though.

If you want something really simple that just pops in place, DO NOT go with a T-Rex. However, the overlay grills I have seen look like crap.

can anyone post a pic of the t-rex grill, i would like to see it installed
