Black hood scoops on maroon X?

Just wanted opinions, I'm thinking of getting a pair of hood scoops and I have a black and maroon scheme already (herculined rockers, james duff bumper) and was wondering what you guys thought. It could be cool, but could be flamericious at the same time. Does anyone know what color the lund ones are shipped? If they are black I could just set them on there before painting an see how I like it. Please give me your input.

If you have black rockers and bumpers, then black scoops should look pretty breast's (I used the PC term, don't want to offend anyone ).

I don't think it will stand out to much anyhow with the maroon explorer...

Why bother with lund hoodscoops? they dont do anything other than look lame imho.

i got them on my truck...i like them...but i also fiberglassed around the scoops and cut out front and holes in my hood so it flows air into the engine...i guess its kind of "functional"
