Wanted blend door info

I just installed a new blend door actuator on my 2004 explorer and i now only get hot air and no cold air,any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

are you sure it's not the actual door that broke? They are known for it. The cheap plastic deteriorates with heat and the upper plastic "limb" breaks off. My sisters did a few years ago and it was also stuck in the HOT position.

If it is a broken door you dont have to cut a giant hole in the plenum or rip the entire dash off... I cut a small 1"x4" slit in the bottom (the size of the side of the door) and took the old one out and wriggled the new one in. patched up the tiny slit and viola hot & cold!
