why dont you take the bumper off of your girlfriend's civic and put it on yours??? that will answer your q's...if aftermarkets kits may fit as you say...then without a doubt, the factory bumper should fit...try it out and tell us...

Like BM said, all this proves is that a bumper from a Honda can fit an X. Can it be done tastefully is all in the eye of the beholder.

Say what? It proves that Honda side skirts can be MADE to fit a SPORT, nothing was proved about a Honda bumper.

That Sport is a little busy, I agree with that. I like a more clean look myself.

If it fits, it fits... but stop giving the guy hell just for asking a question. This site is here to help people and further everyone's knowledge on Explorers. You shouldn't razz him b/c he asked a question, even if it is absurd in your opinion. He actually asked how much it would cost to have a custom rollpan made. Now wouldn't that rule out the idea of fitting up a Honda bumper to his X? If he can make it all work, then more power to him. Remember, there's a good chance that someone is pointing out their dislikes on your Explorer at the same time you might be pointing out yours on someone else's.
