I have a 2000 XLT and was woundering if some one could give me a list of direct bolt on wheels for this truck. The reason i ask is i have seen a nice set of Navigator wheels and they were five lug and was woundering if they would bolt on to my truck. I have also looked into getting sme mustang wheels possibly , any help would be appreciated thanks.

It's very doubtful that Nav wheels fit your X - i've never seen'em in 5 lug, but even if they were they'd only fit the Expedition. You're better off looking for mustang wheels if you're going for the street look...they fit the bolt pattern, but you have to make sure the offset is right.

Good luck!

the navigator i believe is 5x5.5 where as the explorer is 5x4.5 - so thats a no.
also, since you already have that nice set, why dont u try it out? it only takes a few mins to remove 2 wheels and put them back on.

He's SEEN a nice set...he doesn't have them yet ;)

ahah oh true, right u are!

I will probably get some cobra knock offs, will i have any problems with an 18" wheel at factory height. And what back spacing should i look for?

18"s should be fine at stock height... stock backspacing is 4.5" on a 7" wide wheel.. so long as your backspacing decreases as your wheel gets wider, you should be fine.

3.75" backspacing on a 8 inch wide wheel is good.

The Navigator have a 5 on 135mm pattern. Doesn't fit.
