Bought a set of FIVE, with 4 tires, all for $125.

Not bad man but you gotta do away with the gold lmao

The rims will get a thorough refurbishing. I think I will go two-tone grey, dark on the raised spokes and light on the recessed.

Nice find for that kinda cash, and yeah, that gold has to go. It will look alot better after you do the gray. Those Heep Cherokee wheels?

HEEP wheels on an Explorer. Oh the horror :D

at least they aren't pure cherokee wheels. they are grand cherokee wheels... but still... jeep wheels?!?

That was a good deal for rims and tires. The rim kinda sorta looks good in the pic of the passenger side. The gold inset color really does not clash from that view. Maybe I am just used to seeing that style and matching on the Jeeps:D

Maybe its cause the rust aft of the door is kinda the same color lol

Good one.

They are off of a '98 Grand Cherokee. 16" - worth at least $100 per rim, without rubber.

Good find for the price. Yeah -- I'd be a little more concerned of the "gold" forming on your Ex -- vs. the gold rims.

I plan on doing something about that this year when the weather warms up a bit. I've already fixed up the driver's side last fall but I was too late to do anything about the passenger's side. The bottom of the hatch and bumper need tlc as well.

It takes time and patience to repair rust and it is a pain in the Butt. This is what I think about rust repair:fart:

Yeah, the bottom of the hatch is a real trouble spot.

I have some POR-15, in the case of the rockers, they will be painted with this stuff and then coated with truck bed lining so the paint won't be nicked off and the process started all over again.
