Box next to brake pedal

Hello,
What is this box hanging around next to my brake pedal (see image)? All my brake light do not work. Has this something to do with this box? Thanks.

Looks like some sort of security system harness. Can you search any of the numbers on the stickers online to get an idea? That pic has a lot of them hidden due to the wrinkles.
