brake help!

ok, as drivers around here are progressively getting stupider, i have found myself having to slam on the brakes, my question is why do the brakes continue to hold after i've let off the pedal? i have driven a few cars old and new, but this is a first for me. 91 sport btw.

hmmmm...

Might be dirty brake fluid cloging in the lines.

Or a sticky master cylinder caused by dirty fluid.

Is it the front wheels, or the rear wheels?

It could be something simple like a warped rotor, or a sticking caliper...which are both VERY, VERY common problems....

if i remember correctly it should be my rear brakes.
