Brake light flashes on when accelerating

Very wierd, when accelerating off the line quickly the brake light on the gauge cluster flashes for a second and then dims back out. This just started, but I was wondering if anyone had any input on this

Check the fluid levels..

I'll second that..check the fluid! My brake light did the same thing last fall, and i wound up replacing the master cylinder, as mine was leaking, and the resulting low fluid level had caused the light to come on.

I did need to fill the brake fluid! Thank you! Light no longer appears! Cant believe I didnt check the fluid before I posted! Thank You for your help!
