Brake problem

I've noticed that when ever i make a hard brake or a lot of the time in the rain my brakes will kind of pulsate in and out. Kind of like grabbing and then lettting go but i am keeping the brake pressed the whole time. Not sure what this is. Any ideas? Thanks.

Yep. ABS. Sometimes it scares you when it kicks in. Its working normally though.

Yea, its the ABS, jumps the crap out o fme when it kicks in on my dad's blazer, sounds liek its going to blow up or something..

Oh thanks guys. I drove a 2001 safari before I bought this truck and the abs didn't work so I never knew what it felt like.
