After this most recent fourwheeling trip, I noticed a concerning problem. I was holding on a fairly steep hill, about 45 degrees if I was a guessin' man, and the old girl wouldn't hold, or stop. The pedal was floored, but it was still rolling at an alarming rate. Is there anything I can do to upgrade the stopping power? new ceramic pads, just turned the rotors, just flushed the fluid, and everything else is stock. It has about 150k on the clock, 5.0.
Something that might indicate a bad part though, every once and a while when i'm street driving, I'll push the brake pedal and i'll get a "pop" then the petal looses pressure. As soon as I let off and reapply the brakes, the pedal feels much stiffer and the brakes are much more responsive.
Sorry for the long read, but thanks in advance for any advice!
