i dont really where to post this but i figured here would do.. anyway im driving all around today seems fine not like any other day going down the interstate and major roads around where i live.. then im going down Riverview Blvd and i come up to a stop sign hit the brakes going 30mph and the pedal goes straight to the floor and it rolls through.. barely getting any resistance at all.. i coast into a parking lot and brake fluid is seeping out around where the tube goes into the caliper on the front left brake.. really freaked me out and now its getting fixed after getting towed.. but i just dont understand how that can happen?? ive never messed with the brakes in particular and theyve always been done by a professional.. i was just about to take it in next week to get the pads replaced and this happened..
i feel really unsafe now thinking of how much worse it could have been.. any ideas to how this could have happened?? im not a big fan of the brakes just goign out whenever and that would have to be the situation that required the least effort..
