When coming to a stop it feels like my breaks grab and break and loose 3 or 4 times before I come to a complete stop. I just had a brake job (new pads and rotors turned). What could be causing this?

Caliper pins not greased or insalled backwards.
Re-bleed your lines.
:chug:

The 95 and up have bolts that hold the caliper on instead of the goofy rubber things. the slides may need to be greased though. might also be poor machining or grease on the rotors.

Maybe a warped rotor? The rotors are known to be weak

I'd pull the hubs and look first to be sure the bearing locknut is torqued right and the retainer is in place. Then if that's not it, pull the hubs and check the bearings are both Ok on each side. If they appear fine, take the rotors to either where you had them turned or another reputable shop and have them chucked on the lathe and checked for true while you watch. I would strongly suggest it is waviness in the rotor. If it were cliper bolts or pins, it wouldn't necessarily grab and release. You may have got bad workmanship on the rotor machining.

Thanks guys. I think I'm just gonna completely change out my brake fluid. Is there any certain brand that's best to use?

I doubt it's the fluid, but if you can find synthetic brake fluid (not sure if there is such a thing for cars?) then thats what I'd go with..if not use what it says in the manual.

Check the clips on the brake pads. My brother place the clip on one of my front disc ('91) on top instead of the bottom. It caused my backs to lock. Hope this helps.

Hey S. Mtsushige! Long time no see!

Hi Tom, Been so busy these past year with a new job and all. I try to log on when I can these days, but times never seems to be on my side. I miss all reading all the post and no matter what other people may say, I think this site has the best bunch of guys and gals in the world! Take care Tom.
