Break problem

[2006 explorer]

just got a 2006 explorer, I have to put the break pedal to the floor to stop and even then it slowly stops. took it back where I got it and they put a break pedal kit on it, said there is nothing wrong with the breaks.well it still feels the same, help! any suggestions?

brake system needs to be bleed do a fluid change it will also bleed the system at the same time. also if you can pull the wheels off and check the pads.

Looks like there is a Harbor Freight near you. The have a very inexpensive brake bleeder, if you do it yourself.
