I finially got around to extending all my breathers but im having a little problem. My transfercase breather is quite weird. Is the stock breather suppost to run from the transfer case all the way up to the top of the transfer near the motor?. Heres a pic of the breather extended. Where does the old breather go to though?.Also im not sure where the tranny breather is?

Where did your old one go? My stock x-fer case breather only went up a couple inches and was wedged in place by a little bracket.
i got a 93 tho` don`t know if it`s different..

nevermind i found where the old one went. It went from the xfer case all the the way to the top of my transmission. It was pretty long. Looks like it did a pretty good job there. The hose is clean inside.Im still trying to find the tranny breather though? Ideas?

On the 93s the auto tranny breather goes up on one side of the tranny and makes a loop over the bell housing and comes back down and points down. It is like a hard aluminium tube. I raised everything but it. I figured the design was good enough...

That T- case breather is a long puppy huh. I had to find the end just for peace of mind. As a result I learned new ways to contort my arm:rolleyes:
The tranny breather ,as stated above ,is the little metal tube that runs down between the front drive line and the transmission.

breather on the tranny, center of picture.
