Not normal. Have your dealer check it out.

Its happening everytime i change from ac vents shut off and switch to lower heater vents. Either actuator or actuator door which is electronic i believe.

Dealer said no problems with the blend door on these they just spray silicone in there. Its blend door scrape. Now im no idiot so anything binding even the slightest in a plastic geared actuator will cause premature failure so i will have it addressed sooner than later. Unfortunately entire service desk is out with covid along with half the mechanics so wont be anytime soon. In addition to a few dealers closed on Saturdays will make it even more challenging with covid. Stay well all.ill update when i can. Real nice a 2021 with this long time many year issue with blend door actuators. Thanks to this forum and some pics ive seen how cheaply made these are.

Ok came from the dealer and the tech said he started the truck 20 times and didn't heard the chirp sound even after I told the tech just leave the climate on auto and after chimes stop listen for the chirp. Still nothing was identified didn't hear it. Started the truck and heard it when I left and 3 times today what is wrong with people. Any help would be appreciated

For something like that, it would be best if you were in the vehicle when the tech tested it so you could point out the noise since you know what to listen for.

Good point thought of this after I came home unfortunately thank you

Could it possibly be the serpentine belt?
Dont think so happens after pushing the start button and listening to the climate control kicking in on auto. Either remote starting or just just starting manually. Definitely climate control related small fast chirp. These mechanics are deaf from years of loud garage noise.

Going in and staying the night this weds. Supposed to warm up. Hope they hear the loud air or something else noise on startup but also im going to try and sit with a tech to point out the squeak in the climate control. Has to be the blend door actuator. Very annoying and quite frequent I hear it. Sometimes slight sometimes more pronounced ill keep everyone posted. So tired of going to the dealer which is closed on Saturdays and very limited on loaners.

Finally replicated squeak which sounds like passenger side actuator so a loaner should be available soon to drop off isolate and resolve. Took a lunch visit to point out to tech wasn't wasting my time dropping off to get it back NTF. Once resolved I'll report back findings and fix

Dealer is saying only does it knce a day. That is clearly wrong and leads me to believe they dont want to take it apart to isolate the belnd door actuator. I wont be standing by waiting for a failure. Being parts told me there are 4 in the truck ill insist they have whats needed to do the work to repair. Im beside myself that dealers want to move onto the easy work and not work to resolve issues for a customer who bought the truck from them. Very frustrating
