I like to drive with my fog lights on. Can I get a bigger bulb to make them brighter?

Try PIAA 1500s. I'd say you'd like the Driving Lights. They're about $200 and replace the fog light and wiring on the Expy.

i ordered a pair of piaa 1552's from matt. they will, as i've heard, be a direct replacement for the factory fog lights. they were $170 shipped. also jack (rytm1) has the 1552's on his truck, and he told me that they can be wired directly to the factory foglight wires, so that the factory button on the dash can still be utilized. here's the link to that thread where we were talking about this setup. jack also posted some pics of his wiring.

I was indeed working on "master list" of stock replacement lights, but never got beyond PIAA's, apparently because only Pilots fit in there and I couldn't find any other information on them on the net.
As both suggested, the PIAA 1500's are a replacement for the stock, rectangular fog lights. If you have a circular type fog light, the PIAA 510 is a direct fit.

not a PIAA bulb. They all use an 899 bulb, which PIAA doesn't produce and has no plans to produce in the immediate future.

Are you saying the stock light has a 899 bukb?

Where can a brighter one be had?

You can use an 893/894 12V 37.5W in there. I get mine at my local speed shop, but you can also check ebay.

JulieEx, At Pep Boys I found 50 watt bulbs in the 899 style that fit the X. I think Pont. uses them in their fog lights.

Kemp,

Have you tried the 50 watt bulbs for the fog lights from Pep Boys? Have you or anyone had any problems with them burning out quick or burning up anything?
