When I was removing the alternator (probably the first time it has ever been removed) to get the intake manifold off, the stud for the charge cable sheared off. Is it replaceable? I haven't completely cracked open the alternator yet.

Also, I forget, what is this sensor at the back of the engine? Camshaft position sensor?

You could rig it back up.. but seeing as how corroded it was in the first place, and that it's 15 years old.. I would just swap it out.

Alternators can be had for about $150 in the States. The stud is replaceable though. But it's not exactly the easiest job.

As for the sensor, can't say.. not really my thing.

I would get a new alternator. That is old as it braking shows you. I bought a 120amp alternator for like $90 at advance auto parts and the stock one was 90 amps. Big difference when bumping my loud system sitting at red lights. Instead of volts gage going about all the way down it only goes down to maybe a quarter

I agree with what DjDom and others have said.
It would be best to just replace the alternator.

From the picture you posted it looks like the output stud was a good starting point for a "Roadside Winnie Roast" of your rig.

It might be a good idea to change the cable end while you are doing the job too.
