Bronco double shock coil tower

On one of my recent 4X4ing trips i came across a ford bronco
From the mid 80's that some one abandoned right in the middel of the trail, I stoped and took a close look at the front end and noticed it had a upper coil spring mount just like on my explorer except it was made with double shock mounts and it had all the pieces to mount a shock to the axel where the sway bar bolts up,
I am not realy interested in swaping in this setup but i thought i would post this in case some one gives a hoot.

same thing is on some 4x4 F-150's. a shock in front of the coil and on in the rear of the coil.

Yes Yes thats right looks pretty neat and a lot stronger than the james duff double shock hoop
