I tried seraching for the answer to this but couldn't find a clear answer....

What is the sturdiest, toughest, most solid, and best looking (pre-fabricated, I don't have the time to build my own) brush guard for the 91-94 Explorers?

I'd like something I can push another car with (push not run into) without collapsing the guard. It will mostly be used for aux light protection and keeping brush away from the headlights.

Ideally I could hook-up to it low and use it as a recovery point.

I may be dreaming here but any opinions appreciated.

I have a '94, but it's all the same. I have a modular Manik grille guard. It keeps the lights I put on protected and it can push another car (someone parked a little to close one day and I was stuck in my spot, but not for long). In fact, some @$$hole driver smacked into my X last week and messed it up. The grille guard is still there. He must have been going about 70-80mph cause my X was moved 60 ft.

Just look at "MY EXPLORER" in my signature for the before pics and look at "ACCIDENT PICTURES" for the after. I hope this helps.

Man, that guy really jacked up your truck.
Did you have to do any drilling to install your grille guard? How much did it cost you?

No drilling at all. Two small brackets bolt to the frame, then the grill guard bolts to the brackets. The list price of it is around $450, but the guy gave it to us for $380. As long as you have someone to help you and some wrenches, you can probably do it yourself.
