Brush Guard w/lift?

When you put on a brush guard does it mount to the frame or the bumper. Im doin a 2"BL and getting a brush guard but do i need anything special to keep the brush guard lined up right with the front end

Most brush guards bolt to the frame so when you put a body lift on it wont raise the brush guard. You can make custom brackets to raise the brushguard.
