Brush guard

Ive been wanting to get a brushguard for my 03 ST but im not sure of good brands or prices. I found one on ebay but it doesnt really give a brand and its about $400.At this price should i spend alittle more and go with a good brand? Also i thought if it fits a explorer sport it will fit my sport trac but the ad shows a sport trac but says it wont fit lol

Westin, Aries, and Go Rhino are all good, so are the Hunter ones on ebay. Though keep in mind that since you have a body lift, you'll need to custom fab brackets to make it fit, and custom fab more brackets if you want to keep the tow hooks. I can post pictures of the brackets to make mine fit later today if you want.

Is $500 for a Westin one a decent price ? Seems like a average price. For once shipping something to Canada is cheaper then shipping to the boarder haha!

i can try and find a link but i am almost certain i found westins going for 400, but i just got my hunter bull bar in and it looks pretty sick waiting till the weekend to paint the cladding's then i will put it on

For some reason I thought explorer sport would fit since most of the parts are the same

The 2001-2005 Sport Trac and 2001-2003 Sport are interchangable. Mine came off of a Sport.

I've been considering getting one for my '02 just to protect the front end in traffic, and to deflect any deer that might get in the way. I searched the forum a while back, and a couple of members have given the Hunter grille guards high marks. And they cost a lot less than the other brands.
