I just got a 10" buffer for my birthday and need to know how to use it right.
Does normal wax work with it (I use Mother's Carnuba Wax) and do you use the buffer for both applying and removing or just one. And how to avoid swirl marks or burning the paint. Any other hints would be great.

I would suggest using a multiple step process for the best resaults. Go to your nearest automotive paint store for these products and also ask them what they recomend. I dont have a buffer yet but i do have a lot of experience using different waxes. 3M has some good products.
Be carefull with that thing around the edges of your ride or you will be missing some paint. Also, the guys at the paint store should be able to give you some tips on how to use the buffer properly. Let me know how it goes! By the way, from what i have seen it can only be used to apply although i could be wrong.

You can do a search (msn) for McGuires Wax website. They have a lot of info there. Not sure of the spelling though.
