for the record, I bought a new welder after this.. my old one was featured in a video by Bleepin Jeep titled "Its not you its your welder"

I used 4 on one side and 3 on the other

unfortunately I figured it out AFTER installing the bumper, I think the ones on the left were supposed to go here...

It's been a bit and I wanted to add an update. I go out at least once a month and every time I've used the winch.
Pulled myself out once. The rest of the time it's been others.. Ram 1500 stuck in mud going up hill, Durango up to it's axles in snow and mud, this last weekend it was a Rubicon in the snow.. of course the Badlands winch has never failed me, the bumper shows no sign of wear, warp or breakage.
