Buyin a 02 Eddie Need Advice

ok so i;m going to be gettin back into the explorer game, had a 94 2 years ago now i'm gettin a 02. heres the low down. i;m lookin at a 02 Eddie with 81k miles and they want 10k for it. i;ve drivin it and it runs pretty good once in ahiwle it seems liek it has a slighty rought idle, but when at about 80+ ig et this where low rumble sound from the rear but theres no vibes what so ever that i can feel. so just curious if this is a problem and alos wanna know what i should look out for. i knwo one thing i;ve looked at closes if the front auto locking hubs, i know those are notroious for breakingt. any info or advice is greatly appericated.

That low rumble sound from the rear is probably the differential. That model year is the first with the IRS. 02's are notorious for bad rear differentials. Work something out with the dealer to have it replaced. Also make sure that you have the wheel bearings checked back there too.
