Is it $450? I wasn't too sure after reading the somewhat limited site.

Good find!

How hard would the install be for this guys? Looks like a really cool idea.

Looks like the install would be pretty easy. It's all bolt in. The hardest part would be locating and mounting the shifter for the second xfer case. If I wasn't waiting to see what Advance Adapters is doing for the tranny swap, I would be all over it.

is it my understanding that using a electric shift motor equipped X case for that doubler is also possibe?

I want to see the results of this! Looks too cool...

Jim, it appears that way since they have instructions for keeping the electrics.

Well I talked to Tom and I'm not sure that it will work for me or not. Since I have an AtlasII, the shifters on it might be too close, and therefore hit on the doubler and not allow me to mount it. The price is right, it's only $800.00. That's alot cheaper than a AtlasII, and will definatly help increase your crawl ratio. I'll tell you guys. This is worth looking into, you can keep your street gears and still have a slow crawl ratio.

I didn't want to let this thread get burried too deep, so I'm bumping it back up.

so... this means i can have a double tranfer case 1354 with 2 electronic shifters? ;)

No Jim, It means that you can hook the doubler to a T-case that has an electronic shifter. The doubler is a manual shift and you will have to make a hole for it on the tranny hump.

OK, I GET IT, I THINK ;).. INSTEAD OF SWAPPING OUT MY TCASE TO AN ATLAS, IT ALLOWS ME TO KEEP IT AND IS JUST AN EXTRA ADD ON TCASE.... FOR $800 IT DOESNT SOUND BAD..AND IS CHEAPER THAN AN ATLAS

Jim,
Now you got it. This is a good way to have a lower crawl ratio and still keep street gears. The only other thing you would have to do is have new drive shafts built or rebuilt, since the T-case will be moved back by 8". With this doubler you will have a lower crawl ratio than me with my AtlasII at 3.78:1. The doubler with your T-case will be 6.15:1. I'm telling you guys this is a very good thing, especially for the money. My AtlasII was 2K, the doubler is $800.00. Now if I can figure out a way to make my shifters fit around the doubler, I will get one.

I was wondering how to stop the truck since the brakes prolly wont be able to stop a 6.15:1 dual tcase. I guess pop it into neutral then put the BW1350 into 1:1. Doesnt seem to have shift on fly into low range. But I guess bang for the buck....
