- 2000 Eddie Bauer 5.0 AWD
I have a 2000 Eddie Bauer AWD 5.0, a couple weeks ago a clicking started in the front end, particularly the driver side. It was off and on at first, then got progressively worse. I had the driver side C/V joint/ front axle assembly replaced last week and everything was perfect.
Flash forward to yestersday, I heard a familiar noise, the clicking is back! I'm not positive that it's the driver side again but it's definitely the same noise. My questions are, could it just be a faulty replacement axle? Could it be the other side? Could it be another problem altogether? Differential? Front driveshaft? Any help is greatly appreciated!
