hi yall. ok, this weekend, im goin to try and fix the whole "i dont want to work" fan clutch/t-stat problem. well, i called napa, and ordered me the parts i need right now.

t-stat w/oring-5.18
radiator cap-3.99
fan-clutch-134.00
knowing someone on this board is going to help me-priceless
:D

ok, anyway, does this seem right? i have a 4.0 ohv with auto trans, and supercooling option (trans cooler i believe is what this is) any help, greatly apprciated! thanks!

Go to autozone, you can get a heavy duty clutch for like $60 and its got a lifetime warranty

well, ive been reading and searching the site heavly (im alone at work for 9 hours, and no customers) and ive heard bad things about aftermarket clutches, that they dont last very long, and stock one was the best for cooling. i asked the guy at napa if the fan clutch was oem spec, and he said yes. plus, that price was close to ford dealership price.i would like to get a hevy duty clutch, but dont want it failing after 3 weeks
