I currently have a stone driveway on an incline, not a good place to work!

Are you about ready John? I am. I work saterday mornings now, so I won't be heading out untill lunch time or so. I should be there by 2 at the latest. I'll be on CB channel 19. Who else is going? OH, BTW, all that was wrong with my transmission was that it got hot and boiled the fluid out of the breather vent.

If i can get my drive shaft issues worked out.. right now its too short.. hopefully tommorrow i will get it taken care of.. URE should be fun in 2wd the whole time..

if i cant get it done then I wont be able to make it.. due to the fact when i hit a bump at speed it falls out... After that my sas is finished.

I ride in 2wd there most of the time just to see how hard it can be. I don't think were going to get a big turn out, but I'm hoping. At least you can wheel one more time before you have to ship out.

Hey guys, how far of a drive would this be from Asheboro to where you wheel? I'm heading out camping next Thursday for a week, with the family. If it's a reasonable drive, and others want to join up, I might be able to come out on Saturday or something. I'd probably want to ride with someone, since I can't afford to mess up my truck (gotta tow the camper), but we could make it an official "meet and greet" for the NC sector!

Cool! It didn't look that close. So, anybody want to meet up on the 16th or 17th? Like I said, I'd need to ride along. My wife warned me that there would be trouble if I broke the truck.

It's about 2 exits (I think) from the zoo on US 220. It's on HWY 109. The worst at URE is a cut tire. (unless you WANT to tear it up) This whole trip is depinding on John getting his drive shaft fixed. It's his baby.

and i got stuck on duty this weekend. it sucks.. no camping or wheeling for me sat is out and since i am on 24 hours i suck.

I am. It would realy be better for me. I think Larry was up for the next weekend. I'll have to run it by my wife. Are you going to try and wheel Rizz? I swear I won't let you sink your boat again.

Thanks, but seriously, if I break ANYTHING my wife will be P*SSED! I'd prefer to ride with someone. Something about being stranded in Asheboro with a camper. I don't know.
Well, we can all exchange cell phones. I'll be in Asheboro from Thursday to Tuesday. So, I'm pretty open. Weekend is best, as we'll probably stay away from the zoo on the weekend.

i went in to work and guess what.. didn't have to be there.. this is after the wife switched with someone else and had to work all day... even so my driveshaft still isn't fixed
