Looking for a bit of help in identifying what year these seats came from.

Def came from an Explorer Sport, but I ordered a set of seat covers for them that simply don't fit. Don't know if I've got the year wrong, or if the supplier got the pattern wrong.

The seat covers I've got fit the bottoms well, but the tops are short for these seats and not as flat across the top.

They're the same as in my 2000 & 2001 four door Explorers (XLT and EB). Not sure what other years.

You probably got seat covers for the older style..

Like my 97 seats.. I don't have a pic though.

Yeah, my '97 Sport seats are way different. Thinner, lighter, different pattern. Kinda wimpy by comparison.

I'd spec'd out the seat covers for a '99 Sport and was pretty sure I had the year correct.

Guess I need to get back with the supplier and see if I can't work out a solution.

Thanks guys!

Yes those are 99-01 seats. If you ordered for a 99 they should be right unless they sent you ones for the XLS seats which have a way skinnier back to them.

That would coincide with the issue I'm having with the seat covers -- Gotta see what the supplier can do to resolve. I don't recall seeing a "base/XLS/XLT" option when I ordered them.

I've sent them a pic of the seats, hope I can find a solution. The seats came out of a breakers yard and were not in the best of shape then. 5 or 6 years of daily use and they're really starting to look a bit grubby and worn.

Supplier issued an RMA along with a mea culpa on the pattern used.

Sent the 1st set back, awaiting on the 2nd.
