Can 92 4x4 be lowered???

Hello All,

I have a 1992 4x4 X which I am considering lowering for better highway performance. First of all, can this be done without destroying the ride comfort. Also, how is this accomplished and what shocks/equipment should I use. I apologize if this has been answered before but, I could not find anything specific to THIS vehicle on the forums.

You can go 2 inches down without a problem, which is probably all you're looking for anyway. Some 2 inch drop coils in the front, and 2 inch blocks in the rear, just that simple. Well, an alignment. For shocks I would go with some Edelbrocks or some KYBs.
