can a magnaflow muffler be reversed?

OK, muffler rocked up today (yee ha) shes booked into the shop on tuesday for the new 2 1/2" pipe, 11226 magnaflow and tip install....but opening the box I noticed there is no inlet marked. I have read once or twice that these mufflers can be run backwards with no probs. Any thoughts?

Magnaflow's can be reversed since they are a straight through design.

I may have asked this before, how do tips affect exhaust note?

My exhaust tip gives the exhaust a deeper tone (sounds better than without a tip IMO)

i promise you will be happy

when u get the exhaust done your going to smell " burning metal ", and thats nothing to worry about. that is just the muffler insulation getting cooked inside the muffler, and the smell will pass within a few days ( break in period )

i know that your gonna have a heavy foot when u leave the exhaust shop just to hear the exhaust, but i promise your X will pull much harder into the higher rev range

currently i have 250$ saved up, and next thursday ill have another 100$. so im hoping within the next 2 weeks to have the money together

yep that tuner is gonna be choice firmer shifts, accurate speedo for the first time since i've had her, 95 ron program for those long trips, no more paying the shop for diagnostics the list goes on and on...I'm going to go and have a cold shower

mate u should be proud that the new 5lt is australian made. only the block is from the mustang, the heads and blower and 100% australian developed by Harrod motorsport specifically for FPV. It cost them millions to develop it and its not just a simple drop on supercharger. They've already stated that it WILL NOT be available in any other vehicle and if Ford want to put it in the mustang or effie than they have to purchase the complete motor from FPV.
