I have asked in another thread but still haven't gotten an answer. On my 94 XLT 4WD if I go with Warriors, and F150 spacers do you have to get shock extenders? Are you still able to align it? (someone said the standard shocks are too short, and the front can't be aligned bc it is maxed out)

PLEASE let me know. My wife is going out of town for a couple of weeks and I want to do my mods while she is gone. (she knows I'm doing them, I just need her car)

Thanks
Blake

the front will need camber bushings to be aligned properly.... the stock shocks will work fine.....

will I need to supply the camber bushings or will a tire shop that does the alignment have them? Cost?

THANKS SOOOOOOO MUCH FOR GIING ME THE INFO!
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

i work at wheel works and we do alignments and have the bushings in stock.... but camber adjustments are a pita and we normally dont do them.... if a situation exists that we need to do them they are expensive.... i dont know the price on the bushings though.... but the labor is the real price hiker

The bushings run around $50 a piece.

huh... rick said the other nite in the chatroom that they should be $30 for both sides..... also, there are 2 different sizes of bushings

How about that alignment, how much does that run? I am in need.

depends on where you get it done... and if the bushings are needed.... normally though around a $200-$300 alignment

Called the shop that would do it. $60 a side including labor, total alignment around $ 170. Not as bad as $300 but what the heck? Everyone said here thea for the cheapest lift go with the shackles and 150 springs, well that is all under $100 but with the alignment it comes to like $270 to $300!!!! How is this a cheap lift? I mean there is only like 1 1/2 " of lift anyway!! If it was just parts and my labor that is one thing but add it up and I might as wel get a 3 in body or save a little more and go with full blown suspension! I know the inital "lifting " is cheaper but please lets not mislead people here. You can get a lift for under $100 BUT you would be in dire need of alignment so you would wear out your tires and possible mess something else up! Advertise something for what is is and not leave out the "minor" details ( specifically when they are almost double the price).

Now I don't know what to do $100 ok but near $300 no chance for quite a while.
Sorry for the rant but we are supposed to be helping each other out here not sneaking in hidden cost. If ya tell someone to do this fine, just tell them the alignment afterwards is VERY expensive. In my case prohebitavely so.

Thanks to those of you who helped me save my $ in this thread :) .

wheel the cool thing with the spacers... and shackels is that is you would like to got full blown suspension they will stack with it.... either way though your gonna spend that much for allignment... the stock camber bushing cant that that lift... your not gonna get nothing out of a body lift.... except if you wanna run bigger tires...
