Can anyone share wiring diagram for rear lic. plate lamps (2009 Limited awd) also advice - fuse good, no 12v to lamps

Hi, wondering if anyone can share a wiring diagram for rear license plate lamps. all i see is 3 black wires on each of the 2 lamps. haven't pulled rear hatch cover yet but guessing it goes to the loom/connector at the rear wiper motor assy. no idea what wires are what. checked fuze #26 (15a) - its good, so likely a break in the wire - maybe at the hinge for the rear hatch? both bulbs were corroded and stuck in the holders/sockets - impossible to remove so i had to cut the holders off. will need to replace those. I'd poke around and eventually find it but its fricken freezing out and i dont have a warm shop to work in... any help appreciated.

also question: why 3 wires? shouldn't the lic. plate lamps just be on or off?

I don't have the 2009 wiring diagrams, but do have the 2006 schematics if they are of any help to you. You are correct that fuse # 26 is the power supply in the SJB to all the rear lighting. (but not the rear wiper motor) Mine only show 2 wires, power and ground.
