Can I change my tire size?

'01 XLT
I have a '01 XLT with 235/75-15 tires and need to replace them, can I put 31x10.5-15 tires on this model? I was told I couldn't because of previous Ford tire problem.
 






yes you can.....

some tire places will not do it because they are stupid... keep shopping around.....
