I have a 1992 xlt, and I have a ford cd player. how hard would it be to put a sub in? I just think it would be cool to have one. How much are they ? Im thinking 1 10''. Anyway, thanks!

it really depends on if your HU has pre-outs or not. If it does, then its as easy as it would be to install with any head unit; run power, run a 12v turn on lead, and run the rca's. If not, you'll proably need to buy a new one.

good luck,
Jeff aka Lamah

You don't need one...you can always get a line converter which converts your speaker lines into RCA's...not necessarly high sound quality, but it's an inexpensive alternative.

Or if your amp accepts high-level inputs you wouldn't need the line-level converter at all. Just splice the rear speaker wiring an you're done. Well you're done after to run the other 3 wires (12v turn on, power wire from battery, ground wire)
