i got the 4.0 , with a 5 speed, itll smoke the 31's up, thats one reason i bought it cause it is quick for a 4x4.If i put on 35's will that totally make my gearing too tall. I dont want it to be slow. oh yea one more question, does anyone know of a line of tire that comes in 35x10.50x15 i dont want all that unsprung weight from some 12.50s, i like the tall thin tired look.

What gears do you have? If you do not know, look on your door sticker for the axle code. Then go to the page below for what that code means:

If you go with 35's, IMO you want the wider tires. The taller you go, the higher your center of gravity. If your base is too narrow, you will have great stability problems. The extra 4" of track that the 12.5's provide is well needed to keep you stable.

Anyway, I'd recommend 4.10 gears for either 33's or 35's. If you're for sure getting 35's, maybe go with 4.56 gears.
