Lee, I sent you a PM, I still want that dealers phone number. Since they are becoming exstinct, I may want to go ahead and get them also. I beleive the carpet is different than the ones I ordered from that web site.

Thanks again MidniteThunder, that web site has some nice little toys for spiffing up the old Explorer. I did order a set of the matts, but there picture doesn't look the same as mine, but won't be for sure until I get them in.

The mats I bought from there were the Med Dark Graphite, while my int. color is Med Graphite.So the mats are darker then the carpet, not sure if thats the way they were from factory because when I bought the Mounty, it had no mats. As for the fit, quality and speed of shipment-Excellent!!

Ding dang it, I just called Lee's Ford Dealer and they do not have the floor matts either. Anyone have a lead on a dealership that would have these Factory floor matts that are tan carpeted with the logo of Explorer on them?

I don't get it BBQ. Looks like the dealer told me one thing and you another. They did tell me it would be a special order so I wondering whether they are just telling you what they have in stock.

I will try to call them back today and see what the deal on the two different stories is.

Sorry pal, didn't mean to inadvertently get your hopes up.....I was just going on what they originally told me.

Hey thanks a million for all you are doing Lee. I called them again today and the guy you told me to ask for was out. Some girl answered the phone and after about 5 minutes with her, I hung the phone up. It could have been a bad connection from my cell phone, but didn't want to take any more chances. Will call them again in the morning and if they are closed, will call them on Monday. Thanks again for all you have done.

Well thanks to MidnightThunder, I got my new floor mats in today. They are exactly like my old ones where several years ago when they were new. www.foraccessories.com/ did a great job for me getting them. It took awhile, but they did make it. Thanks to all who helped in this search. Now I can say this, if you want new floor mats like the ones in the picture, that web site is the place to get them.
