Ok here is my problem. My truck is a freakin rust bucket but I love it

I realised that I dont have what it takes to lift it myself due to the extent of the rust taht is on my bone stock 4x4 explorer. My cousin has a shop and he will help me out puting the BL on along with 2in shackles and the TT.

THE PROBLEM: I'm in the southern US, he is in Canada. I am going there anyway for a wedding.

I cant drive on my old stock tires, they wont make it, I should have replaced them long ago but I was waiting on my lift so I did not buy tires for nothing.

So I have to make a 1500 mile road trip on 33's and the stock suspenion.

Is that event possible ?

I dont care if they rub while turning and all of that. I just wanna make it up there.

Can I drive on them ?

No

Could he cut the fenders like fo and take out those plastic wheel well things and do it?? That seems like it would be reasonable.

with a TT and shackels...maby.....but stock very doughtful.....but slap them on and see what happens...go to auto zone and get some 15$ shackels crank up the t-bars firsth though.

you could always remove your fenders and toss them in the back until you get there. :D

that would be friggin funny!!!

but that could work!

the problem is usually the rr sitls lower then the front....

I cant do a TT or a shackle because I dont own a blue wrench, otherwise, I would do everything here including the BL.

I bought my wheels and tires today. I'm picking them up at summit on friday, so I will try them on  :D  I could not find a better deal than them. Yoko's 33x12.5x15 mounted on 15x10 black steel wheel for $722. I doesnt hurt that I can save $100 on shipping by picking them up.

If rolling on them is not possible. I will risk using my old strockers and carry the 33's as spares. Maybe they will work out back but not up front I fear. I dont have the plastic over my fenders, it's an XL explorer.

what is a blue wreck?

with a 15x10 rim there is no way in hell your fitting them without 4 or more inches or lift.

15x10 there is no way maby maby maby a 15x8

edit: I reserve the right o use a rubber mallet and reshape my fenders to make it work :D  :D

Seriously though I think i might be able to do shacles here and remove the front fenders. But I fear the look of the customs agent as I enter Canada with no front fenders

ahha you dont need a troch to do a TT you just jack up the front end spary some pb blaster on the bolts and turn away.

Not on my truck ! I tried

I have holes in the body big enough to fit your fist.

wut does the holes in the body have to do with doing a tt?
its 2 bolts that u tightn underneath the truck and thats it
u take a couple of measurments b4 and after and ur good

if u want to go takin a mallet to it by all means go ahead but i wouldnt b surprised if while hitn the fender, somethin else might go wrong!!

take off the front fenders...that may get you the 33's on in the front.

Can you get a used set of tires mounted for the drive? I would think you get something fairly cheap. At least cheaper than turning a tight corner and wrecking one of your new tires!
