wut does the holes in the body have to do with doing a tt?
its 2 bolts that u tightn underneath the truck and thats it
u take a couple of measurments b4 and after and ur good

if u want to go takin a mallet to it by all means go ahead but i wouldnt b surprised if while hitn the fender, somethin else might go wrong!!

You cannot even begin to comprehend the extent of the rust on that thing. I started doing the BL after treaing it with pb for a week and 2 of the body mont bolt broke clean off. I dont want the same thing to happen to my torstion adjuster bolts. I bought all new hardware and I will have to cut off all the monting bolts and install new body mounts along with the BL.

The rubber mallet thing was a joke btw.

Sure will !

On friday, I'll post pics if it's not yet dark when I get home I'll try them on for kicks.

Those look exactly like my bolts when I did my body lift.

Even the snapped one :D

I snapped 4 of them and had to drill out 2. Only 2 came out relatively smoothly. My 4 foot breaker bar helped a lil.

Did you do the TT yet ? Did they break ? On my X, the bolts feel like they are about to break off when I am applying force to them..

I did the TT years ago, they were certainly hard to turn and creaked the whole time but everything turned out ok.

Picked up me wheels... well they look bigger than I expected.... :D

I like the new cragar wheels that SImmit carries. For $42 each, they look great.

Mine will not budge. Even with a 3ft breaker bar. Actualy it feels like it about to break, people that have broken bolts know what I mean. That feeling you get just before the bolt snaps clean off :thumbdwn:

I wish I had a torch kit... that is not 1500 miles away.

well did you try and put them on?....ore relize that 15x10's are to big?

I'm still gonna try :D but yeah when they were carting them towards my X at Summit, the reality started to settle in BAD. It was hurting more than the $722 charge to my VISA.

Anybody with a torch set in the Atlanta area ?? ;)

Well the rear is... hmmm OK I guess..

I'll tell ya in a minute :D

yes it does i can see the side moldings......there the little angled pieces that come off the body.....if you didnt have them there would be a bunch of holes.
