I know the offset is different. But has anyone tried this before? I have a 1999 Explorer with no matching wheels. But it came with wheels from a 2005 Escape. Last resort is buying a new set of wheels and tires. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum:chug:
I found this thread which may be helpful:

I know the 16" Wheels from a 99/00 Ranger will fit on a 99 Explorer.

You are welcome. My wife damaged one of the wheels on her 99 Sport & I had replaced the wheels on my 00 Ranger & still had the old wheels so we used one of the wheels off my Ranger on her Explorer. I do not know if it makes any difference but both of our trucks are 4x4's.
