cant find 4*4CM

Did some research and I think mine is dead ,changed battery and then the next time I tried my 4*4 nothing happened.I took it out and been trying to replace it but every time i put in the Ford part # ,or the MOTOROLA # it comes back no match.Is there a different # I should use. This the Ford # (1L54-7H417-AD ) any help would be appreciate

I had the same problem with the computers not recognizing the numbers for some reason. However one parts person finally got me the right one. He said something about there being a change in the part number. I can't remember what the number was. If you want a control module I have two that will work in your truck.
