Can't find anything

I have searched and searched to find performance goodies..no to much luck other than the normal stuff..what type of tranny do I have so I can try the Jet tranny Mod...How do I know what energy suspension to order for a better ride..I keep looking here and finding some things but stuff like Throttle boddies are hard to get unless you have a OHC but of course I have the SOHC..I looked through the catalogs and been all over the net but people I need help

In 99 didn't they only have the SOHC v-6 and the 5.0
V-8?

frj00 must have typoed, meaning OHV vs. SOHC. Anyway, in 99 you could still get the OHV with a manual tranny.

As for parts available, with the SOHC you're pretty much limited to intake, exhaust, and chip. That is unless you go custom and $$$.

no, it's a SOHC they made 3 versions that year a 4.0 OHC a 4.0 SOHC and 5.0 V8 The SOHC was supposed to be the model with more tourqe and hosrepower..my intake clearly states that it's a SOHC as well as the sticker from the dealer on the window.

They only made an Overhead VALVE (OHV) engine in Explorers,or Single overhead cam (SOHC), that you have. There is no (ohC).
