New flowmaster 40 delta series helped out a lot but I have a hole some wheres on the exhaust system closer to the engine, around cats to stock headers(I call them stock headers) you all know what I mean. I was just under truck looking for hole and in engine bay, unless hole is in a spot I cant see or reach I have no idea how to find out where that hole is. Any special way to tell? Ideas? It only sounds like a hole when the rpms are above around 2rpms n above. After I think 4rpms you don't hear it any more, and hear the new muffler over it or it stops sounding like a hole. Any help greatly appreciated, thanks. Oh I had some one step on gas while I was in engine bay and underneath, cant find the hole. Mans problem cant find the hole lol

I found an exhaust leak in my wife's accord. I was ran a bit of Seafoam into the intake by way of the pcv valve. Smoke was pouring out of a hole in the flex pipe. ...Try disconnecting the brake booster vacuum line and have a friend dribble some Seafoam in the vacuum line(truck running) while you have a look around for the smoke. Try not to breathe that stuff though.

thank you, I will try that when I can probably next Monday when I have next time off and get sea foam. If any one has anything else to add or try in case that don't work, please leave a comment thanks people

Check the DPFE hoses too.

Check the DPFE hoses too.

I should of mentioned the noise is coming from the pass. side it sounds like. like I said Sounds like, not 100percent sure, but yeah all the vaccum hoses are in place

With a cold start, have some one briefly cover the exhaust while you are looking. Keep doing until person is ready to pass out. The back pressure might lead you to the hole. Remember to not hold for more than 2 or 3 seconds at a time.

Well might as well make it fun and make him pass out, do it to someone I don't care for...hey inconsiderate neighbor, yeah you come here hold this  lol

thanks will try that also

tomorrow or next Monday I will try, any more to add or ideas please do add, thanks guys

Does anyone know if the exhaust manifold(stock headers) is a known problem for cracking like the F150 around the same year is? I'm starting to think the header gasket or the header cracked. I was going to try temp. gun to read the temps to see if any different temps and I just got done driving and it was cooling down so i'm going to wait untill its cold tomorrow to let it idle and warm up, then read each individual pipe is different. I'm starting to think its the header is cracked or gasket for header is cracked.

What would be the variance in temp for each pipe coming off from each cylinder head for pipe on header(i'm sure you's know what I mean). No cat codes coming up under obd2 reader.

50degree difference on middle one of header. Thinking either cracked manifold I cant see or gasket is cracked
