Can't find where my vaccuum hose plugs in 02 Explorer V6 4.0

I've been hearing a hissing sound in my dash on the passenger side when I turn my car off. While changing out the transmission cooler today, we noticed a vaccuum line unplugged that runs behind the alternator ticked into some wires. We can't seem to find where it goes. Any ideas? I'll take a picture in the morning.

It plugs into the heater control valve most likely... look for this with heater hoses attached that goes from the passenger side firewall to the area under the alternator connecting to the water pump.
