can't get spider gears to mesh

I replaced a wheel seal this weekend and some how in the process of doing so, one of the spider gears fell out of the carrier. How do I get the all 4 of the spider gears to mesh back up and get the retaining pin back in?

I have replaced the other side before and was careful enough to not move anything, this time I was not so lucky.

I have a 2000 5.0 AWD explorer. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Basically you have to push the opposing gear almost out too and then rotate all four spider gears on the axis of the other two installed spider gears. Its difficult to explain but just keep playing with it, you'll get it.
